Vintage & Threshing Fair at Ballinlough
The rich rural heritage of Ireland will be very much to the fore at the Ballinlough Castle Country Fair 2011

Due to the huge interest in vintage farming machinery in Ireland generally, the event organisers have restricted entry.  This will be an "Invitation Only" event with a selection of vehicles representing nearly a century of Irish farming.

This year we welcome to the Ballinlough Castle Country Fair the Moynalty Steam Threshing Society who are based in Co. Meath, just a few miles away from Ballinlough Castle.

Every aspect of Irish farm life will represented on their stand from vintage vehicles to vintage tractors, threshing machines, butter churning, cooking on open fires, making boxty & brown bread to mention just a few. On hand to field the questions will be club members whose knowledge of agricultural machinery of yesteryear is seeming boundless!

Be sure not to miss the annual Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival, held in the village of Moynalty on Sunday 14th August 2001

The Ballinlough Castle Country Fair is organised by Country Sports Fairs Ltd.
