 At
the National Country Fair we operate an 'Irish Food' policy with
all areas offering, where possible, Irish products with much of
this coming from regional food producers. It is estimated
that over 75% of the food available at the National Country Fair
is grown and produced in Ireland.
We acknowledge that many visitors will want to try
cuisine from different areas of the world and while including
such products at the fair, we encourage these food providers to
source local products here too.
A wide range of bar and
catering facilities are available over the weekend of the
2013 National Country fair.
These include:
A Family Food
Court offering traditional fast foods, French crepes, hog-roast,
venison, seafood, baked potatoes, paella and oriental cuisine.
Food Fair and
Farmers Market with lots of locally produced foods to sample and
purchase, ranging from savoury foods right through to treats
like hand-made Irish fudge, chocolates and ice cream
There is a Traditional Beer Tent offering a range of local
beers, stout, cider and spirits.
Our food providers
will serve Irish breakfasts each morning and traditional Irish
lunche.
