Yakovlevs
Soar High Above Ballinlough
The organisers of the
Irish National Country Fair are delighted to
announce that the crack formation aerobatic
team, the Yakovlevs, will perform each day
at Ballinlough Castle.
The Yakovlevs
are Europe's premier formation
aerobatic team, flying four powerful Russian
Yak-50 and Yak-52 Aerobatic training
machines. Their display programme has been
developed with the family in mind,
demonstrating precision flying at its best
as well as the unique capabilities of the
high performance Yak aerobatics aircraft.
Their 20 minute display each
afternoon at the Irish National Country Fair
involves close formation manoeuvres and
graceful aerobatics that will amaze and
enthral young and old alike.
Formed
in December 1999, the team flew a
successful first air show season in
2000 and have continued thrilling
the public at more that 700 shows
since then. They have been seen by
an estimated 50 million spectators
throughout the world and now they
make their Irish debut at the
National Country Fair.
Marked
in their distinctive colour scheme,
the aircraft perform an aerial
ballet with breathtaking passes at
close range, soaring formation
manoeuvres and billowing smoke to
highlight their transition through
the sky over Ballinlough Castle.
Nowhere else in Ireland can this
amazing display be seen. Be sure not
to miss this exclusive air display
at the National Country Fair 2010!
