The
National Country Fair is
Ireland's largest country fair and is located
at Borris House at the heart of the beautiful heritage town of Borris in South Carlow.
The 2013 National Country Fair will be staged over the August Bank
Holiday weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August. As Ireland's premier country
sports event the fair attracts
thousands of people from home and abroad to our shores each year.
The event organisers have some
twenty years experience in running game & country fairs in Ireland and,
working closely with the Kavanagh Family who own Borris House Estate,
Carlow County Council and Carlow Tourism, they will bring to the
2013 National Country Fair a unique range of events, competitions, products &
services reflecting all aspects of country life in Ireland.
Centrally located in the South East Region of
Ireland, Borris House is just an hour's drive from Dublin and Cork and
is at the centre of Ireland's new road network, linking it to all parts
of the country. With FREE car parking located a five minute walk from
the centre of the Borris House Estate, visitors are assured of ample and
free parking and fast entry into the Fair.
Our new road system
through the estate and the additional vehicular access we have provided
will make visiting the National Country Fair even easier this year for
traders and visitors alike.
